Summary

The Kayzen MCP connector gives LLMs, such as Claude, access to your Kayzen data, so you can explore campaign performance, account changes, and settings directly from the LLM environment you already use. It works with any LLM that supports custom MCP connections, including Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex and other compatible LLM applications.

If you already use kAI Companion in the Kayzen console, the concept is similar, but the experience is different:

  • kAI Companion lets you interact with your Kayzen data directly inside the Kayzen console.

  • Kayzen MCP lets you bring Kayzen data into your local LLM (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and work with it alongside your other tools and connected sources.

What can you ask your AI assistant?

Use natural-language prompts to explore your account and campaign data, compare results over time, and keep track of changes.

Explore your Kayzen data

Ask your LLM, like Claude, about your current or historical Kayzen data. You can summarize results, compare periods, rank campaigns, break data down by dimension, identify trends, pull a campaign snapshot, or see what changed.

You can ask about:

  • Rankings: identify top-performing campaigns, creatives, or exchanges sorted by any key metric.

  • Breakdowns: by country, exchange, creative, ad format, app bundle, device, connection type, day, hour and more

  • Comparisons: period-over-period performance and trends.

  • Campaign settings: tCPA, frequency cap, budget, targeting etc

  • Lists: running campaigns, creatives, saved reports, and more

  • Balance information: account balance and recent credit activity.

  • Change history: budget updates, campaign pauses, targeting changes, creative updates

  • and more

Try asking:

  • "What are my top 5 campaigns by spend this month?"

  • "Compare app installs this month with the same period last month."

  • "What's the win rate for this campaign by exchange?"

  • "Pull the spend for all advertisers in my enterprise."

  • "What changed in this campaign yesterday?"

  • "What targeting changes were made this week?"

Work with Kayzen data alongside your other tools

Because Kayzen MCP runs inside your AI assistant, you can combine your Kayzen data with the other tools and sources connected there.

For example, you can ask:

  • Summarize a campaign’s weekly performance

  • Turn campaign results into a chart

  • Prepare a performance summary for a team meeting

  • Cross-reference Kayzen data with another connected source

All within the same conversation.

Kayzen MCP gives your LLM read-only access to Kayzen data through the GET APIs documented in the Kayzen Developers Hub. For query details, see the relevant API documentation.

How to access

Before you start: what you'll need

To connect Kayzen MCP to any LLM, have these four details ready:

  • Your Kayzen email and password

  • Your Kayzen API key

  • Your Kayzen secret API key

You can find both keys in the Kayzen Admin Console under the Settings section for your advertiser.

If you have access to multiple Kayzen accounts, you can use any account's API key and secret API key. You'll have access to all your accounts, whichever keys you use.

Using claude.ai or Claude Desktop:

Your organization admin should add the Kayzen MCP to your portfolio of MCPs at the organization level, or you’ll need to set it up as a custom connector.

Connect with other LLMs

You can connect the Kayzen MCP to any LLM that supports Custom MCP connections, using this MCP server URL: https://mcp.kayzen.io/mcp

Setup steps vary by LLM. If you're unsure how to add a custom MCP connection, ask your LLM for instructions. If you need help getting set up, our Customer Success team is happy to support you.

What’s next

The Kayzen MCP is designed to give you direct access to your Kayzen data through natural-language queries. Any suggestions or interpretations generated by the LLM based on your data are provided by the LLM and do not represent recommendations from Kayzen.

This is just the beginning. Future updates will add write access, so you can do more with your Kayzen data, wherever you already work.
